Key Responsibilities:

• Build budgets, models and board-ready numbers
• Analyze performance against plan
• Partner with the client on decisions
• Keep the model clean and documented

Working with AI: Finance is being reshaped by AI that reads documents, codes transactions and flags anomalies. You will run those tools and own the judgment they cannot.

• Use AI document capture and coding (OCR plus LLM) for invoices, receipts and statements, then review the exceptions
• Use AI to draft variance commentary and reconciliations, then verify every number
• Apply anomaly detection to catch errors and fraud signals early

Competencies:

• Accuracy and a low tolerance for errors
• Discretion with sensitive financial data
• Deadline discipline around close and filings
• Analytical thinking
• Clear written communication with clients and auditors

Skills:

• Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel or Google Sheets)
• Experience with an ERP or accounting platform
• Understanding of core accounting principles
• Attention to reconciliation and audit trails

Tools you will use: Excel or Sheets, plus a planning tool (Cube, Planful)

Education: Bachelor degree in a related field. Professional certification preferred.

Work Experience: Five to seven years, including work that stands up to audit or client scrutiny.
